Cars which are older than 30 years and which are in their original condition can be imported duty free. In Germany there will be only 7% import turnover tax for classic cars.
This is one big advantage in comparison to the Netherlands. There you have to pay 9 % for import turnover tax. Replicas and Hot Rods can't be imported with reduced costs.
If a classic car complies with the requirements for a duty free classic car import, will be decided by the european customs authorities.
